About Us
Yangon Little Gems Fine Jewelry is established in 2018 by two ladies who specialized in CAD Creation. With our eternal love for simple and clean look designs, we create our jewelry with our natural self.
To improve our knowledge about gold and gem stones, we attended precious metal class where we learned the relation to Burmese units and metric units of Gold, wax loss casting and polishing, etc. and gemology class to collect facts piece by piece. We practiced casting methods testing over testing and polishing from rough kids to final pieces day in and day out.
Thanks to generous offer from GIA: Gemological Institute Of America's GIA Essentials online courses at no cost for first-time enrollments and our teacher Sayar U Myo Naing : Yangon Gemological Institute and Laboratory (YGIL)'s instruction and knowledgeable experience, we achieved the diploma of Applied Jewelry Professional, A.J.P (GIA) and became Alumni Members of Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in May 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic.
No reasons to give up. We realized that this is our Passion.
At Yangon Little Gems, our first priority is quality. This is why we have decided to keep all production in-house and carefully execute each design from start to finish. We spend many hours on the bench during the week alongside our team to make sure each and every piece is perfect. This care and attention during the making process ensure that your piece of fine jewelry will arrive glittering beautifully, and will hold up over time.
Our pieces are handmade, one by one, using the most unique gemstones that we can find and collect. We use Natural Gemstones from Our Country Myanmar and provide with Laboratory Test Paper. We do sell out of favorite pieces sometimes, but there is always something new on the horizon! Each stone will be skillfully one by one selected, set by hand. That's why we can say that our pieces are made with great care and love for the craft, from our hands to yours.
